I had an awesome time with DrWrestle!
He's a strong heel who knows just how to use his muscles to torture you in all the right ways. He can be aggressive when he needs to be but he's always respectful and considerate.
If you get the chance to wrestle, go for it! You won't regret it.
dbjay is recommended by manwrestler
dbjay is very tough for his size. Suprised me with his chokes and sleepers. He got the best of me this time but hopefully a rematch soon
Highly recommended for a great match. Nice guy off the mats too
He's fun to wrestle and surprisingly strong. Great to hang out with outside a match, too.
One of the best guys i wrestled this year. Kinda a cross between a jobber and heel. Safe, sane and easy going. DBjay is worth the trip to get to and is eager to do most kinds of wrestling. Has some skills but will develop many more over time. Eager to learn and practice holds and puts up a good struggle for a newbie and a thin one at that. I had so much fun i stayed locally and wrested a second day. He has great stamina and is an interested guy off the mats too. Smart and witty and a wrestler-what could be better! Definately worth meeting up with. Hes a real A+++++. Reliable and fun!
Where do I begin? First of all, Tiger is a really strong guy! I had to give it my all just to get out of the simplest of holds. He's the kind of guy who can easily get you to submit but loves when his victim... I mean opponent fights back. He's pretty open if you have a certain move or hold you want to try. He's also very respectful of limits and cautious not to do any serious damage. He's a trained boxer if you want to duke it out also. And over all, he's a super nice guy with a great sense of humor. I look forward to throwing down with him again sometime!
With a hundred pound weight difference, the smaller guy usually accepts that he'll be thrown around like a rag doll and pinned like an exhibit in a butterfly collection. Not dbjay. Sure, he knows some of that is bound to happen, and when it does he doesn't freak out or lose his temper or pout because things aren't going his way. He can take it. But don't get careless, because although he's just getting started, he picks things up quickly. He already knows enough to exploit openings provided by an opponent. Being able to do that with virtually zero experience is impressive. He is clearly going to improve with every match. That happened with us. By the time we were finished, the submissions were pretty much alternating. If I came out ahead, it was just by a nose. As for the non-wrestling aspect of meeting someone, you won't find a nicer guy anywhere, I consider him a friend.
Landshark was a great opponent! He was kind enough to teach me a few holds (he likes to coach guys with little experience), I used everything he taught me against him and he was impressed. He was very patient and kept going over the hold until I applied it correctly. To all the younger guys who are looking for a coach, this is your man! He's very respectful of limits. He's also a great guy off the mats, very kind and thoughtful. In the short time I've known him, he already became a good friend.
