Older guy (age 53), but completely new to wrestling. Want to learn about all types of wrestling from friendly, patient, skilled, competitive guys. Hit me up if you want to help me roll around on the mat and build some basic skills.
I’ve always loved to watch wrestling, from the Saturday morning bouts that would eventually morph into the WWF (long before the cartoonish commercialism of the WWE) to the high school, college and Olympic athletes who seemed so serious, determined, and intense. I always wanted to join, but was too intimidated. Now at my age, I don’t give a f**k anymore, so let me in!
I feel like wrestling is a connection to something primal. There’s something in it that all men know innately, some connection to our natural masculinity that I think many of us have lost touch with or forgotten. I know I did. But now I’m back and ready to connect. Bring it on!
Opponents/coaches/teachers/friends of all ages welcome, but I'd love to meet guys closer to my age who understand the challenges that come with fitness and getting older.
One last thing: You might look at my pic and think, Damn that's one saggy old man, but I was overweight my whole life, and I lost 50 pounds over the past year, so I'm on the way to healthier me. If I'm not someone you wanna roll around with, that's totally cool, but no reason we can't chat. I want to be as open and honest as possible about who I am, because I’d rather you dislike me for who I am than respect me for something I am not.
Peace brothers (and the few sisters who hang out here). Thanks for checking out my profile!

Rick is amazing! I couldn’t have had a better opponent for my first match. He took it slowly and kept it at my pace, without being too easy on me. He’s a tough competitor with a solid base of training and experience. And if you’re an experienced fighter, he can definitely give you a great fight. He’s also committed to keeping your fight safe, which makes him an honorable man in my book. Thanks for an awesome match!

I can't say enough great stuff about LdnGrapple. He's kind and patient when it comes to demonstrating moves you might not know, but he's no pushover. His calm demeanor masks a tough competitor. He's got a lean and fit look that hides how truly strong he is, but more importantly he's a smart opponent who is always looking for your weaknesses and his next move. On top of it all, safety is his primary concern, and he goes out of his way to make the match the safest it can be. Do not miss the chance to wrestle this amazing man.
