Its All About That Clash !!!!! Pt 1

I have been challenged and encouraged by a close friend to do a blog about my experiences. Mine will be no where near as interesting, but here goes nothing :) I had the great pleasure to attend my first Clash of the Titans This first part will be about the days leading up to it.

My trip started out with a quick day trip to Raleigh, NC where I had set up a match with a couple of guys there. Things didn't work out and we didn't get to wrestle, I love the Raleigh area, and especially the hotel I stayed in. If you are ever in Raleigh looking for a good hotel for wrestling and relaxing, look up The Stateview Hotel an Autograph Collection. I can't wait to visit the area again and see if I can meet up with the matches that fell through.

It was also this point I began to get nervous about Clash, I really had no idea what to expect as I have never done one of the arranged group events. I wasn't sure what to expect with the groups Was it going to be high school all over again? I knew my travel companion LB200 would be known and popular, so where did that leave me? Did I want to attend all four days or try to set up my own matches in the area and hope for the best? What would the guys be like? Would my higher voice rub people the wrong way? I got lost in my own thoughts as I awaited the next part of my trip.

The next part of my trip took my to Fayetteville, NC on Memorial Day. Home of one my favorite opponents and overall fun to toss around Shawty and I met up last year for the first time and, an instant friendship formed. It was the perfect answer to my nerves about clash Over the next couple days, so I acted the opposite hoping my confidence would give him some. Tuesday night found us talking a lot about the next day, two of my best friends were going to meet for the first time.....

Nice post. That's a pretty good idea to split your entries in smaller chunks. :)
